Harvesting + chizu nnamdi

Elusive Glasgow-based glitch-pop group Harvesting launch their latest single through new DIY label No Soap, with support from chizu nnamdi + more TBA

Harvesting: The music of Harvesting occupies a liminal space between glitch-pastoral, hyperpop and ambient noise. The Glasgow-based trio lean into experimental, mosaic compositions of shimmering vocals, thumping club drums and soaring, distorted string sounds. On July 26th, they will release 2 new songs through DIY label No Soap, marking the release with their first headline show. A limited run of CD singles will be available on the night. CROP 1, by Harvesting

Chizu Nnamdi: chizu nnamdi is the music project of Glasgow-based musician and filmmaker, Chizu Anucha. His sound blends choppy, lo-fi rhythms with new-age R&B and the emotional charge of indie rock. His moving image practice is research-based: centring the politics of cultural representation onscreen and the romanticisation of everyday practices through poetic and reflexive styles of documentary filmmaking. He experiments with the formation of historical and fictional narratives, often by reimagining archived moving images as a means to explore the onscreen depiction of marginalised cultural identities. chizu nnamdi
