Her second solo album\u00a0GLISSBLISS\u00a0(29th May 2026) centres this vision, presenting a sculpted, piano-led sound world of suspended harmonies, intimate voice, strings and electronics that blends chamber sensibility with contemporary pop experimentation.\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: HelveticaNeue-Italic;\"><i>Conceived as both a sonic and tactile project, the release also extends into listening-focused performances and a curated LP edition.\u00a0<\/i><\/span><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: HelveticaNeue-Italic;\"><i>Alongside the album, Cury continues collaborative work and doctoral research exploring gossip as musical material, further expanding the conceptual frame surrounding the record.\u00a0GLISSBLISS\u00a0<wbr \/>crystallises her approach, transforming classical lineage into a personal and forward-looking pop language.<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><i><i>Cury has established herself as one of London&#8217;s most proficient young composers and pianists, straight from\u00a0<b>Trinity Laban\u00a0honours (Gold Medal 2021)<\/b>\u00a0to collaborating with\u00a0<b>Max Richter\u00a0<\/b>in-studio (<b>Free &amp; Equal Vol.2<\/b>)\u00a0 and at\u00a0<b>Southbank Centre<\/b>, a commission from the\u00a0<b>Royal Albert Hall associate artist programme.\u00a0<\/b>having her composition performed at the\u00a0<b>Royal College of Music\u00a0<\/b>and performing at<b>\u00a0SXSW 2026,\u00a0<\/b>all in 18 months time.<\/i><\/i><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Support by Fionnlagh Mac A&#8217;Phiocair and Tom Macfadyen:<\/p>\n<p>Piper Fionnlagh Mac A&#8217;Phiocair and composer and electronic musician Tom Macfadyen will perform an improvised set, producing a rich and thrilling blend of Scottish traditional music and electronic soundscapes.
