RAJ MAHAL & BAND + LEO MIYAGEE + SECRET HEADLINER

Raj Mahal’s bringing Jazzy Rap with a 6 piece band. Leo Miyagee is an award winning artist from NI. Secret Headliner is one of Glasgows best

Expect Jazzy Rap with a live band, an award winning international artist and a secret band that is about to run the world. This secret headliner is equally as great as they are secret. Trust.

Thursday 20th November. £10 online, £15 on the door. Doors open 7pm. This is the most ambitious event I’ve ran yet. Last event was max capacity and this won’t be any different. Having a 6 piece band and flying in an artist from Northern Ireland is madness.

Be there

Raj Mahal’s a rapper from Glasgow with thoughtful and well-crafted lyrics, spilling colourful riddles over vibrant production with energetic delivery.

The words are snazzy, the beats are jazzy, and if you want to know where glasgow’s best gig is on November 20, he’ll send the addy(its the Old Hairdressers just to be clear).

Being mixed race with roots in Punjab(India), Raj covers topics of community and identity while having a foot in different cultures but feeling as though they’re tiptoeing in both. Whether it’s freestyling, battle rapping, singing, performing with his punk band “Raj Against the Machine” or bringing 90’s conscious boom bap to the stage, Raj Mahal is genre defying and always elevating.
