The Goth Moth is the real-world embodiment of the imaginary friend your parents hated. Raised in the Glasgow music scene, he has metamorphosed through a combination of Alternative Rock, Freak Folk, and childhood nightmares to become the sombre songwriter you didn’t know you needed to hear. He has been recording and releasing music since 2024, and are finally embarking on their adventure of performing their first headline gig with a full band on the 11th of September 2026. The Goth Moth will also be releasing their debut EP “An Inefficient Remedy”, a collection of music that explores themes of alienation, paranoia, and a martyr complex, with sonic palettes ranging from ambient soundscapes to cathartic powerhouse riffs.
