Four 30-minute solo sets by Glasgow-based artists featuring experimental music, improvisation, movement, and live electronics.

Four multi-discipline Glasgow-based artists present a 30-minute set each. An opportunity to present new work, try new ideas, revisit old material, and explore creativity with an audience and performance space.

The evening promises to deliver an exciting array of work delivered through multiple mediums including:

The line-up for the evening consists of:

Tom Macfadyen – Tom Macfadyen is an electroacoustic composer and improviser based in Glasgow. Tom constructs digital systems for improvising and generative music making – creating dense, atmospheric, and lively textures blending real and unreal sound worlds.

Anne Kjær – Anne Kjær (she/they) is a transdisciplinary performer and improviser. Anne works in intersecting fields of dance, sound art, installation, and theatre. Through their work they explore topics of identity, community, care, and trauma.

Aidan Lochrin – Aidan Lochrin is an experimental musician and sound artist based in glasgow. Their work is heavily steeped in improvisation and the drone, blending ambient textures with noise, field recordings, and live instrumentation.

Darren Gallacher – Darren Gallacher is a percussionist and multi-discipline performer with a specialism in experimental and new music. His work is influenced by cross-discipline approaches to performance within the arts, with a particular interest in live-sound processing and world building in music performance.
